It has become our tradition to turn on the Christmas lights during the first day of December. I love how the tree looks when it all lit up. This puts everyone in the Christmas spirit.
The Little Boy is counting the days till Christmas. He really loves everything about the season - the decors, the lights and most especially the Christmas carols. I know for sure that every night when the clock hits 6PM he is going to ask that we play his favorite Christmas songs. He has even volunteered to do a solo performance of "Ang Pasko Ay Sumapit" at his school's Christmas party. He is growing up to become such a bibo kid with an active imagination and full of life and energy. We are so happy that his G6PD deficiency has not limited him at all.
The Little Girl is also very excited, but in a different way she is excited about opening her gifts and finding out if she got the ones on her wish list.
The Little Boy making one of his funny faces and the Little Girl with her oh so sweet smile |
I love taking pictures of the two of them together. I hope that the bond and closeness that they share will be forever. Maybe I should put that on my Christmas wish list.
